Gwen Stacy is the oldest of three children, and the only daughter. Her Dad is very protective of her and she is basically daddy’s little princess. She loves her father immensely and constantly worries about him because he is the police captain. When she finds out that Peter is Spider-man she tells him that she can’t do this with him. This, referring to constantly worrying about whether or not he will make it home in one piece. A trait that may be considered a weakness is her inability to deal with the emotional stress that comes from worrying about those she loves.
She is manages to keep a level head even in high-stress situations. Most likely due to any past incidents her father has had to deal with while in the line of duty. She cleaned up Peter’s wounds from his outings as Spider-man so it is implied that she has had practice in taking care of others.
She is a smart and dependable girl. Even though her family is well off she works hard at school and is extremely smart. She was able to be Dr. Curt Conner’s assistant at Oscorp while she was still in high school. Dr. Conner’s even wrote her a glowing recommendation letter, which shows that she is a shining star in her school. She takes her school and work very seriously.
She is brave and isn’t your typical damsel in distress. She doesn’t back down from a challenge and doesn’t falter from standing up for others. When Flash picks on Peter outside, she immediately steps in and distracts him from picking on Peter.
She seems to have a classy upbringing. When Peter comes over in casual clothes, Gwen asked if he brought a suit to change into. She is a rich, privileged girl. She isn’t a rich snob, as she has no problems talking to anyone. She is an overall friendly person.
When it comes to her abilities as a student, she is confident and doesn’t falter. She is the same way when making sure others are alright. But like any typical teenage girl, she can be rather shy and sometimes awkward around the boy she likes. Peter Parker is most likely the first boy she became serious with and is probably her first love.
She doesn’t back down from confrontation, no matter who it is. She has confronted the boy she likes and a giant lizard. The girl has a courageous soul. She has a good heart and doesn’t think twice about putting herself in danger to help others.
